Pair of extremely cool baggy black denim raver denim with tons of studs and straps and zippers at the knees that can turn the pants into shorts. Where have we seen this design recently, well Balenciaga of course as they have been inspired heavily by rave and baggy outfits. These are much more durable and better quality than newer models and honestly great. Might be late 90’s early 2000’s.
Tripp was founded in 1984 by Daang Goodman in New York and was heavily influenced and involved with the youth culture in the 90’s and 2000’s drawing from the baggy silhouettes seen in club scenes as well as the neon colors of rave and the studs of punk and heavy metal scenes. It was very reflective of the youth of major cities and had big moments in those periods before making a cult comeback in recent years, multiplied by Balenciaga directly referencing them for their rave pants.
