A great example of Yohji’s great use of velvet materials. He uses it on and off rarely over time with velvet items being some of his rarer pieces. This piece has an interesting use as it has a yellow under layer that is visible from the inside. The two panels utilize two different types of it as well, with one being smooth all around and the other being rough when rubbed at certain angles. It’s got a nice casual fit to it as well and is a great way to add texture to an outfit.
