Margiela dipped his label into designing glasses right near the end of his time at the label. He designed the notorious incognito models which were essentially mono-lensed shades meant to act as sensor bars and obscure the features that give us identity. This pair is a little more fun and slightly blocks out the face simulating the pilot style of large facial shielding.
