Greg Lauren is the nephew of the legend of rugged Americana Ralph Lauren, and it shows in the lux approaches he makes to reconstruction of vintage military garments and other materials. The pieces are all handmade and distressed, remade, and finished in his LA studio by a small team and are recognized by their attention to detail and fit. Some of the more notable pieces are made of reconstructed military tents and old clothing, even duffle bags. This piece is made of vintage heavy denims and linens patchworked together into a cropped sleeve shirt with a longer fit, usually layered over a tee for layered sleeve look. It seems to be a sample for the track striped retail version.
