Blackmeans is a Japanese brand heavily influenced by punk culture. With a mix of British and Japanese punk scenes the brand blends Japanese craftsmanship and with all types of punk designs that has made it popular with the punk fashion scene in Japan. The name comes from the word “burakumin”, the lowest caste in the feudal Japanese social order, and outcast villager group. The store was only open for 4-6 hours at night outside of Tokyo.
