This piece is an oversized leather jacket featuring two military style pockets on the shoulders as well as buckles around the bottom. A similar piece is in a runway picture I found in 2003 but can’t find anymore looks from there.
John Galliano is a British designer known for his collections most notably with Christian Dior and Maison Margiela (current). His work has been very influential with a lot of focus on sexuality and exaggerated shapes. Some notable pieces that are still around are his pieces that used the Dior Trotter monogram and newspaper print which has resurfaced in current Dior pieces. He currently is creative director of Maison Margiela.
