From the original drop of Lanvin chunky shoes labeled “Curbs”, these shoes caused a shock wave in the luxury fashion market that led a gradual shift into manufacturing other chubby-tongue, wide body sneakers. The shoes replicate old Osiris and Etnies skate shoes that had massive tongues and size lace grips. These are essentially high quality remixes of those old classic skater shoes, fun to wear with some relaxed pants. The laces really spice things up as well and this pair comes with an extra purchased pair of laces.
