Lesser seen rare pair of Dirk Bikkembergs high boots that feature an interesting tightening method. The red is a stretchy bungee cord that has large knots on them just big enough to pull through the lace holes if you pull hard, which allows for the shoe to be tightened yet flexible. Dirk really liked experimenting with functionality especially when it came to the overlooked mundane parts of our clothing.
