These are the early sneakers made in license with Reebok by Pharrell during the era of early Kanye, NERD, Lil Wayne and Nigo’s rising brand of Bape. It’s reminiscent of an era of baggy outfits, vibrant pinks and colors, and very good music and skateboarding. The boutiques have come back as a cult icon along with a lot of older Bape and Ice Cream staples. You can even see a boutique hiding in Tyler the Creators closet during his Golf runway event launch trailer thing. The shoes originally came in a box made to resemble an ice cream carton.
