One of the many edits Balenciaga had made to modern accepted footwear has been the Rhino shoe. The shoe features a rising point near the toe which in itself is a stopped triangle. It creates a more fun novel effect on the toe of the shoe that pokes out from Balenciaga’s baggy pants that obscure the heel in most cases. It’s almost the reverse balance to the XPander which plays with where the pant falls on the heel.
