Rei Kawakubo and Comme Des Garcons Homme definitely think outside of the box with a lot of their work, so when it comes to redesigning Nike silhouettes they really push people to the limits of what they’ll accept. At first then putting little dinosaur sand molds pushed people to far with the first AF1. This AF1 with its excess material left off of each stitch had people torn, but over time it grew on people and now everyone can’t get enough of these shoes sometime after it’s original runway debut.
