A pair of Geobaskets that was cut with lasers leaving fine lines in the leather upper that slowly distress more and more over time leading to a unique texture. Brown is a color that hasn’t popped up much in general for Geobaskets so it’s also interesting to see an old brown color-way in a half size.
Rick Owens has become well known for his footwear as well as his clothes. A lot of his models started as bootlegs of popular silhouettes that evolved into new silhouettes. The Geobasket was Rick attempting to make a “monster truck” for feet out of luxury materials.
