From the time of the collection “History of My World”, the runway featured mostly tailoring and almost formal pieces and shirting. But the pieces that were never shown during the runway or really photographed were the Poltergeist pieces like this shirt, the infamously expensive parka, and many others. The pieces gained heavy popularity over time due to some striking colors and graphics that almost seemed more at home for Consumed or Riot with their dark contrasts and grungy looks. The idea of a Poltergeist is the German word meaning “Noisy Spirit” which can easily be applied to an expressive emotion of fashion, or it could just be Raf pop culture referencing the famous horror movie of the same name.
