From the collaboration with Lewis Leathers. The company has had a few famous collaborations with the Comme Des Garcons family of brands, the most famous of which being the direct collaboration producing the painted “Live Free Die Strong Comme Des Garcons” jacket. Lewis Leathers is Britain’s oldest motorcycle company established in 1892. They started as a suit tailor and when car companies such as Mercedes Benz started opening on their street and the war started they changed their business. The Aviakit tags were from when they manufactured Aviator military gear, but it stuck when they changed into the leather jacket business. Now their jackets are popular in the fashion community, Pharrell donning some neat customized ones for a long period at one point. This vest features some rather sparkly take on a biker logo classic.
