The 2003 Collection scab by Jun Takahashi was an homage to the punk crust culture of repaired and tattered clothes, but fused with a earthy almost indigenous craft looking vibe over it. The pieces were made from reconstructed pieces of older collections dyed and stitched together in different ways to create some truly standout unique pieces, still being one of Undercover’s most sought after collections. This piece features a dyed linen back side and a covered burlap type material over the front meant to distress over use and time. There are two lobster hooks designed to attach to belt loops and dangle as a belt bag, similar to the posterior pouches of Vivienne Westwood bondage pants.
