2001 “One Skull” Shoes
Marked size: 8 (fits big like 9)
From 2001 “Time Migration” these re-designed references to the Converse “One Star” are still quite relevant today. In great condition, just minor heel drag. This version has the white contrasted skull, probably the best iteration. In an age of rising trend for redesigning logos of popular sneakers such as putting a lightning bolt on it, a star, a gun for a Nike check, flipping the check etc, these shoes mark an earlier inspiration for redesigning a popular shoe. As a brand inspired heavily by grunge and punk, Number (N)ine of course had to notice the popularity of converse in that group. Another redesign of Number (N)ine was referencing Axl Rose’s custom Converse Weapons.
