A great and lesser seen item from the artisanal line at the original Maison Margiela. The robe is made from up-cycled vintage viscose and synthetic silky fabrics (with very intricate patterns on them). The inside is lined with extremely thick silky satin material. Each robe from what I’ve seen is completely unique and only some of them have this long asymmetric construction from the collar to bottom. The cuffs are stitched upwards to be cuffed like wearing an oversized night robe of someone else that has to be cuffed to be used. This is by far one of the best color and material combinations aside from the runway versions.
