In the early 2000’s Nike was making moves to slide into skateboarding parks and onto people’s feet. This wasn’t going over well with some, specifically Consolidated, their answer was to bootleg Nike’s new SB line of shoes by making the BS line of “Drunks” (Nike Dunks). This pair is one of those parodies of Nikes featuring “Don’t Do It” branding on the heels as well as the sticker packs that came with it. Consolidated’s shoes seemed to get mixed reception from the community and started arguments as to if they were overreacting etc. What do you think, discuss below.
