In the 90’s - 2000’s Nigo took lots of inspiration from already existing pop culture icons and silhouettes. For his shoe the Bapesta he used the shape of a Nike Air Force 1 but began putting flashy materials and colors on them. This example features a crocodile embossed pattern on top of the white leather.
