A 1996 69/100 varsity jacket made in collaboration with Post Overalls. The jackets are all numbered via embroidery on the front out of 100 and all feature different colors/letters to spell out BAPE. There is also simple branding on the back. This one also still features customizations in pins added to it.
In 1996 A Bathing Ape still in its infancy in the streetwear of Japan was appearing in magazine fashion pages. As you can see the jacket ‘G’ (assuming the picture doesn’t get blacked out) has an inquire for pricing as it was a special item that had to be directly purchased.
