A very wild bag style from Jean Paul Gaultier, the bag is in a rusty metallic grunge effect from the “Cyber” or also “Mad Max” nicknamed collection that has a lot of popular cyber punk future vibes. In fact that’s an understatement, the runway looks like The Matrix, meets Blade, meets Fifth Element. If you’ve seen a collectible or cool Gaultier piece it’s probably from that runway, whether it’s a fur item, leather zipper jacket or bag, or the iconic spectrum of dots forming a woman in a bikini dresses/tops. The dot illusion tops were all designed on computers for the spectrum graphics. The runway included a motorcycle and models climbing scaffolding as well as a live hawk.
