A knit zip up, mixed with a Lurex style material that shimmers metallically amongst the material highlighting certain patterns.
One of Jean Paul Gaultier’s first notable collections, based off the period of design that emerged in Russia that led to De Stijl and Bauhaus styles. It focused on structures, industrial society and the urban space. The artworks usually had some order to them and called back to suprematism that basically was a bold shape standing out amongst a plain area. This knit zip up is one of the most standout pieces from the collection featuring a knit woven with sparkly threads mixed in with other lux materials to form Cyrillic lettering and Roman numerals.
