A cropped puffy fitting nice light cotton twill bomber with tons of bright print and color blocking on it. There is some nice planned paneling with stitches curving down the bomber to make sure it puffs out right when worn, you can see the interesting shaped cut even in the pictures. The flags on the front so far we’ve found to be Antigua and Bornholm.
Kansai Yamamoto’s major claim to fame was designing a lot of famous pieces for David Bowie’s Wardrobe, most notably for Ziggy Stardust era outfits. He was way ahead of his time for designing such wild yet wearable designs and pieces. Even the monster hands of Jun Takahashi were reference to Bowie and Kansai’s designs. He notably also showed clothing in Europe predating Rei Kawakubo and Yohji. His designed were bright, expressive, large and unisex. It really helped push fashion forward with the help of Bowie’s star power as well as Elton John and many others.
