1980’s Intricate Sailor Sea Knit
Marked size: Unmarked
From the 1980’s Yoshiyuki Konishi as well as his Ficce label occupied a unique niche within Japanese fashion. He produced elaborate, complicated knits that used unorthodox materials like vinyl tubing and rope, he also dyed threads colors in house rather than purchasing them pre-made. Some of the knits even could use up to 60 different colors. The prices were quite high back then and with inflation they’d cost around 1000$ today.
