Visvim is a Japanese workwear brand created by Hiroki Nakamura. The name is a mashup of two Latin words vis and vim that both essentially mean energy/power and vigor. He also liked how the letter v looked. The style of Visvim has lead the charge of Japanese Americana with high quality handmade pieces with interesting techniques employed into some of them. The Visvim Christo is one of their most popular items as it is a very comfortable slide that has a very distinct silhouette that other brands have come to copy. I’ve been told the sole is composed of cork that molds to the foot as you wear it.
